Team

Bogdan Iordache

managing partner

Always searching for more than enough, Bogdan is definitely the engine and sometimes the bad cop of the team. Since he ended his studies, later than usual for an entrepreneur, he started a few online & educational projects (Conectoo, StagiiPeBune), part of them still being active and successful on the Romanian market. He finds great pleasure in helping entrepreneurs find their way and improving their businesses, but also in cooking and watching football.

Raluca Georgescu

how-to-web.net editor-in-chief

With an experience of over 5 years in management and business development for local or regional Internet companies, Raluca has gathered a good web & management know-how. As an entrepreneur she is currently developing her first project Raluk.ro, a local entertainment blog. She loves writing and empowering the people around her, while still watching 300 different movies each year. Keep in touch with Raluca on Twitter or Facebook.

Ioana Anescu

community manager

I’m a 100% active, positive and optimist online & communication passionate!  For 4 years I’ve been involved in the dynamic online environment, as a freelancer, in various communication projects and event organizing activities ( Picant Events, Online Business Forum – 2 years,  How To Web 2010, How To Web 2011, Arena Ursilor 2011). I have been involved in starting a positive news website: www.stiridebine.ro , coordinating the community of Romanian skiers and boarders – www.hailaschi.ro , setting up a startup project dedicated to winter sports passionates – www.skiclub.ro and designing communication strategy for various other projects in human resources, travelling and ecommerce.  Recently have developed my own pet-project www.abe-events.com (a calendar and info-site of all must attend events all over the world). My free time is dedicated to friends, photography, snowboarding and travelling.  I do believe that life and work should both be enjoyed! You can find me on Twitter & Linked In.

Oana Anastasiu

account manager

The Management faculty that Oana graduated within the Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest made her develop in a very organised and thorough person. The Human Resources Master she is currently attending, enhanced her passion for human interaction and coordination. Her 3 years experience in working with Howard Johnson Hotel in banqueting area gave her the perspective through the “back office” and administrative activities within event organizing and eye for details. In 2010 she handled the administrative tasks for How To Web Conference. She doesn’t miss a thing! Especially if it involves sweets, dancing, travelling and movies.

Alexandra Dumitru

inspired how-to-web.net writer

“You can get Alex out of PR and digital, but you can’t get the PR and digital out of Alex” is probably the best way to describe Alexandra. Better known as AlexOanaDumitru, Alex is a fresh-minded digital communicator, distinguishing herself through positive energy and continuous dedication to her projects. Starting with organizing professional events for the young generation and continuing her road to a successful digital career in <The> social media Silicon Valley start-up, Alexandra now joins the How-to Web team. With “Digital Communication” as her middle name, Alex promises her readers a wonderful trip to the land of tech and entrepreneurial stories.

Monica Obogeanu

how-to-web.net web editor

After graduating Computer Science in Sibiu, her hometown, working in the university’s Communications Department and for a European startup, Monica joins the How to Web team with the belief that she can make a difference. She was web addicted even before having an internet connection, having her brother bring home saved web pages on floppy disks and writing html code for a personal webpage. She loves the excitement of new beginnings and looking confident in the future. Thus it makes perfect sense for her to be around web startups. She goes through life trying to “enjoy the ride” with a good TV show, a slide down the hill on a snowboard or a drive around the country.
