Dear startup-ers, prepare your pitches! VentureConnect just announced three great events for this autumn. And the best part, they’re spread all around Romania, so you can choose to attend one of the Timisoara, Cluj and Bucharest events. And another great news is that Doug Richard, School for Startups initiator, will be there for all three events.
Venture Connect is a great initiative putting together tech startups with potential investors. They have already organized three events in Bucharest, the latest in this year’s June, and now they’re making it bigger and better, turning to the local tech communities in Romania. The VentureConnect tour, if you don’t mind me calling it that, will be in Cluj on the 12th of October, in Timisoara on the 19th of October and in Bucharest on November, the 23rd. The local editions are a selection for the final competition in Bucharest as well as live mentoring and business training.
The renowned Doug Richard, a successful entrepreneur and important investor with an extensive experience in developing international business incubators, has confirmed his presence for all the three VentureConnect events. He’s known to the mass public as one of the dragons in the first two series of the “Dragon’s Den” TV Show in UK (a format also present in Romania as the “Arena Leilor” TV Show).
“I am glad to be supporting VentureConnect as it offers practical solutions for young businesses that need help with the mechanics of starting a thriving business. All new enterprises struggle with a lack of resources and too much bad business advice. VentureConnect provides new options, sustenabile opportunities, new mentors with real experience in how to start a business.” said Doug Richard.
