One of the biggest IT centers in Romania is Timișoara, home of a great development industry and a growing entrepreneurship community. Radu Ticiu, director of the Timisoara Software Business Incubator, founder of the TiMoDev Group and involved in many other great initiatives, shares a few thoughts on Timișoara’s strategic geographic placement and tells the story of an interesting conference he attended in Budapest. 123ContactForm is a company based in Timisoara, Romania, offering a platform for easily creating web forms. We’ve used 123ContactForm for our feedback forms at the 2010 and 2011 How to Web conferences and we were thrilled by the product’s usability.
Developed by Florin Cornianu and Tudor Bastea, 123contactform isn’t exactly swimming in clear waters. With competitors like Google Forms or SurveyMonkey, it’s not easy to develop a new product and gain your share of the market.
On the 31st of March, the fourth edition of the OpenAgile Romania conference takes place in Iași. The event brings in attention Agile and Lean solutions for qualitative software development and business excellence, with the participation of international speakers, leaders in IT software and organizing methods, developers, testers and passionate managers.
At the end of March, Bucharest will be hosting the DevWorld conference, reuniting more than 300 developers, entrepreneurs, specialists and young development enthusiasts from SouthEastern Europe.
